Regent5 is seeking experienced Lead Electricians to oversee electrical installations on luxury residential and estate projects. This role leads a crew of electricians and apprentices, coordinates with project managers and other trades, and ensures every installation meets code, quality, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a crew of electricians and apprentices on active job sites.
• Interpret electrical plans, specifications, and wiring diagrams.
• Execute rough-in, trim-out, and final installation of electrical systems.
• Coordinate daily work with project managers and other trades, including low-voltage, HVAC, and general contractor teams.
• Provide field feedback on constructability, conflicts, and design improvements.
• Track job progress and report status, delays, and issues.
• Ensure all installations comply with the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
• Enforce job site safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices, assigning tasks based on skill level.
• Review material lists for accuracy, coordinate deliveries, and minimize waste.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical installation experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership or foreman role preferred.
• Strong experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
• Valid Electrician Certification (Journeyman or higher preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including panels, circuits, lighting, and controls.
• Knowledge of local codes and inspection requirements.
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage job site productivity.
• Strong communication skills with project managers, clients, and other trades.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience coordinating with low-voltage systems, such as lighting control, AV, and networking.
• Familiarity with high-end residential systems, including Lutron and other smart home platforms.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• Experience with project documentation, including as-builts, redlines, and daily logs.

Physical Requirements:

• Climbing ladders and working in attics, crawlspaces, and other active construction environments.
• Extended periods of standing, bending, or working overhead.
• Able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds; pushing and pulling of objects is required.
• Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, and weather.

• Valid driver's license and clean DMV record.

Regent5 is seeking motivated Electrical Apprentices to join our team on luxury residential and estate projects. This is an opportunity to learn the trade under the direct supervision of licensed electricians, working on some of the most sophisticated homes in Northern California.

Job Duties:

• Assist licensed electricians with wiring, rough-in, and trim-out on residential and commercial projects.
• Support installation of electrical main panels, sub panels, and lighting systems under supervision.
• Prepare and organize electrical components, materials, and tools for each task.
• Assist with pipe bending and EMT installation.
• Learn to use digital voltage tools, such as clamp meters and volt meters.
• Read blueprints and electrical drawings alongside a lead electrician.
• Use laptops and tablets for digital documentation.
• Help verify elevations, dimensions, alignments, and clearances per plans.

Physical Requirements:

• Climbing ladders and steep stairs.
• Crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching.
• Able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds; pushing and pulling of objects is required.
• Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
• Physical work is a primary part (more than 70 percent) of the job.
• Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, and snow.

We are a specialty electronics design and integration company focused on high-end residential and commercial projects, specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of building automation systems, security and surveillance components, lighting control, distributed audio-video, home theaters, conference rooms, automated roller shading, environmental controls, and networking products and services.

Job Functions:

• Cable and wire termination.
• Rack design and setup.
• Network setup and configuration, including installation of routers, switches, and wireless access points (Cisco Meraki, Araknis, Ruckus, and Ubiquiti UniFi).
• Installation of various AV, security, networking, and control equipment.
• Experience programming systems such as Savant, Control4, or Lutron.
• Experience using a PC or Mac.
• Programming of automation and control systems.
