Ketra uses a four-channel tunable LED system composed of red, green, blue, and white LEDs. Their four channel system produces the widest spectrum available, from 1,400K to 10,000K, enabling users to create a range from "warm candlelight glow” to “cool arctic sky.” Proprietary color mixing and driver technology enables very high quality white light with a high degree of precision, with a color rendering index (CRI) and R9 greater than 90 that can be achieved at any point from 2,700K to 5,000K. The result is called Dynamic Spectrum: a full color gamut of tunability that can achieve excellent color rendering and quality white light from a single source.

With the design of Ketra's lighting solutions, every light is catered to your own daily rhythm. Ketra using an idea known as warm dimming to help cater each light source to your mood. “Warm dimming” refers to a light source’s gradual shift from a cooler “daylight white” at higher levels of brightness, to a warmer, amber color at lower light levels. Traditional light sources, such as the incandescent lamp, are blackbody radiators—just like the sun. This means they absorb all the radiation that strikes them, and emit an equal amount of radiation based on their temperature. Unlike typical LED lighting, Ketra generates white light by combining multiple, saturated red, green, and blue primary light sources with a phosphor converted white LED.

It's better for everyone if Regent5 provides the wiring. Because we can't carry our warranty on third party wiring, problems often arise from wire that is not standard grade provided by our vendors. There's a lot of headache that can be avoided by simply going with wire provided by Regent5.
While it's possible to plan ahead of any new construction or remodel with a wiring plan already in place, and definitely preferred to plan ahead-wiring can be done in any phase. After the framing is completed and before the insulation is placed is the best time to do wiring. Wiring for any time after that will unfortunately take a lot of wall breaking, which can be quite expensive to complete. It's best to plan ahead, for you and your contractor!
