X4 is the current Control4 smart-home platform and user experience. It provides a customizable home screen with favorites, widgets and quick actions plus routines, scenes, schedules and control of connected home systems.
The current family includes CORE lite, CORE 1, CORE 3 and CORE 5. CA-10 remains available as a high-reliability automation server for exceptionally large systems with hundreds or thousands of devices.
Both are premium Control4 remotes with physical buttons and voice features. Halo uses a color non-touch display, while Halo Touch adds a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen for graphical navigation, favorites and scenes.
T5 is Control4’s current in-wall touchscreen family, available in 8-inch and 10-inch sizes. It provides always-available control of the home plus camera, video-doorbell and intercom functions on supported systems.
Lux is Control4’s premium lighting-control family with keypads, universal dimmers, switches and outlets in architectural finishes. It combines lighting control with customizable scene buttons and whole-home automation.
Yes. Current Control4 lighting capabilities include support for color-capable and tunable lighting experiences. The exact fixture, driver and integration architecture should be selected during lighting design.
The current X4 app experience includes Apple HomeKit integration for supported systems, allowing selected Control4 functions to participate in the Apple home experience and Siri voice control.
Yes. Control4 can scale from a single room to large residences. Large estates require the correct CORE or CA-10 architecture plus professionally designed networking, racks, power, lighting and device organization.
Often yes. Control4 supports a broad ecosystem of third-party devices, but compatibility depends on the exact model and available driver. We survey existing equipment before promising that it can be retained.
Many systems can be modernized, but older controllers, touchscreens, drivers or network components may need replacement. Regent5 can audit the current project and create a staged upgrade plan.
Yes. We can evaluate controllers, programming, network health, lighting, AV, integrations and documentation, then stabilize, reorganize, upgrade or expand the system where practical.
