FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS & DESIGNERS
The technology layer behind exceptional outdoor spaces.
Regent5 works alongside landscape architects, landscape designers, exterior contractors, architects and estate teams to engineer lighting, power, low-voltage infrastructure, outdoor AV, heating, shading, pool controls, networking and automation without compromising the landscape.
WHEN REGENT5 SHOULD JOIN
Before conduit, transformers and equipment locations become field decisions.
The best time to coordinate exterior technology is during concept design, design development or construction documents—before hardscape, planting, pool work and exterior millwork make routing changes disruptive. Regent5 can support early budgeting and system narratives, then carry the scope through drawings, rough-in, submittals, RFIs, commissioning and as-builts.
Concept + DD
System approach, visual-impact goals, budget ranges, control philosophy, technology allowances and infrastructure strategy.
Construction Documents
Device locations, conduit pathways, transformer and power-supply locations, dedicated circuits, low-voltage plans and coordination details.
Construction + Commissioning
Submittals, RFIs, field coordination, programming, dusk commissioning, training, documentation and long-term service.
WHAT WE COORDINATE
One coordinated exterior scope instead of six disconnected subtrades.
Landscape lighting
Layered illumination, glare control, fixture/control specifications, transformer planning and whole-home scenes.
Invisible outdoor AV
Landscape speakers, buried subwoofers, concealed displays, projection, outdoor Wi-Fi and property-wide media.
Heating
Bromic and Infratech heaters, mounting, dedicated circuits, load planning and control integration.
Shades, screens & pergolas
Exterior rollers, bug screens, pergola motion, sensors, power and automation.
Pool, spa & water
Pool equipment, covers, lighting, fountains and water features coordinated into the broader control system.
Electrical + low voltage
Conduit, trenching, dedicated circuits, weatherproof power, network pathways and service access.
DESIGN INTENT
Technology should preserve the landscape, not announce itself.
Lighting that reveals form
We coordinate layered, warm, glare-aware lighting with tree canopy, material texture, circulation, water, architecture and dark-sky considerations. Fixture locations and controls are developed with the design team rather than placed from a generic spacing rule.
Sound without speaker clutter
Distributed landscape audio can disappear into planting while maintaining even coverage. Speaker and subwoofer locations are coordinated with grade, planting, property lines and the way outdoor rooms are actually used.
Displays without permanent visual weight
Outdoor TVs, retractable screens and Future Automation lift mechanisms can be coordinated with exterior cabinetry, stone, drainage, structure, power, sightlines and service access.
DELIVERABLES FOR THE PROJECT TEAM
Documents that architects, GCs and landscape contractors can build from.
WHOLE-HOME INTEGRATION
The landscape becomes another architectural layer of the property.
Exterior systems can be coordinated with Lutron HomeWorks or RadioRA 3, Savant, Crestron, Control4 and Vantage, while specialized products such as FX Luminaire, Coastal Source, Future Automation, Bromic and Infratech support the outdoor environment. Regent5’s role is to make those systems behave as one property—not to force the project around a brand list.
DESIGN REVIEW
Bring Regent5 into the landscape coordination meeting.
Send a site plan, landscape set, pool plan or exterior lighting concept. Regent5 can identify power, low-voltage, pathway, equipment and control decisions that should be resolved before construction proceeds.
