CORE Controllers for Single Rooms through Large Estates

The current controller family includes CORE lite, CORE 1, CORE 3 and CORE 5, with CA-10 available for very large or demanding systems. Regent5 selects controller architecture around device count, audio needs, AV distribution, redundancy and property scale.

What is Control4 X4?

X4 is the current Control4 smart-home platform with a customizable home screen, favorites, widgets, routines, scenes and schedules.

Do you provide Control4 service, programming and repair for existing systems?

Yes. Regent5 can assess existing Control4 systems, troubleshoot programming and network issues, replace failed or obsolete components where appropriate, improve documentation and plan upgrades or takeovers when the original installer is no longer available.

Can an older Control4 system be upgraded to X4?

Many systems can be modernized, although older controllers, touchscreens, drivers or network components may need replacement.

Can Control4 run a large luxury residence?

Yes. Large estates require the correct CORE or CA-10 architecture plus professionally designed networking, racks, power and device organization.

What is the difference between Halo and Halo Touch?

Both are handheld remotes with physical controls. Halo Touch adds capacitive touchscreen navigation for graphical favorites and scenes.

Does Control4 work with existing AV and smart-home equipment?

Often yes, but compatibility depends on exact models and available drivers. Regent5 surveys existing equipment before promising reuse.
