Purpose-built outdoor systems use weather-resistant speakers and distributed coverage so music remains even across the landscape without relying on a few loud sources near the house. Speakers can be integrated into planting beds, architecture or discreet landscape locations, with buried or concealed subwoofers used where appropriate. Regent5 generally favors more evenly distributed speakers at lower levels rather than a few high-output points.
Regent5 plans weather-rated access points, wired backhaul and switching around the property layout, construction materials, distance, terrain and locations where people actually need coverage. A consumer mesh network is sometimes enough for small, simple properties, but larger estates generally benefit from wired access points and a planned backbone so wireless capacity is not consumed relaying traffic between mesh nodes. Fiber is often appropriate for connections between separate structures where copper distance or surge exposure would be concerns.

Cost is driven by seating areas and property geometry, how many speakers and subwoofers the coverage needs, display exposure and mounting, weather-rated access points, wired backhaul or fiber between buildings, conduit and surge protection.
