Direct-view LED builds the image from modular LED cabinets or tiles and can create very large displays without conventional panel bezels. LCD video walls use multiple flat panels with very narrow borders between them. LED selection is driven heavily by pixel pitch and viewing distance; LCD selection is driven by panel layout, bezel visibility, brightness, mounting precision, and service requirements. Barco TruePix is a direct-view LED platform, while Barco UniSee is a tiled LCD video-wall platform. LG MAGNIT is LG's modular direct-view LED family, and LG also offers commercial narrow-bezel LCD displays that can be tiled into video walls.
The best platform depends on image size, closest viewing distance, room lighting, desired seam visibility, wall depth, structural capacity, service access, content, operating hours, and budget. Direct-view LED is often preferred for very large seamless canvases, while narrow-bezel LCD can be a strong fit for conventional tiled walls and specific commercial applications.
Sony Crystal LED is a modular direct-view LED platform intended for large-format image systems. It can fit residential media spaces, executive presentation rooms, visualization environments, lobbies, and other projects where screen scale, image quality, and low-visibility module seams are priorities.

A site review and system design are needed before an installed budget is meaningful.
Requirements vary significantly by platform and wall size. The project may need engineered backing or framing, precise wall flatness, dedicated electrical distribution, surge protection, ventilation or thermal planning, equipment space, cable pathways, network connectivity, and front or rear service clearances. These conditions should be coordinated before finish construction.
