There is no single best platform for every estate. Regent5 designs with professional systems such as Ruckus, Access Networks, Cisco Meraki, Araknis and UniFi based on coverage, device density, management requirements, security, outdoor or multi-building needs and long-term support. Netgear can also serve selected switching and backbone roles. The network architecture and RF design matter more than choosing an access-point brand in isolation.
Wi-Fi 7 can improve capacity, latency and throughput for compatible devices, but performance still depends on access-point placement, wired backhaul, switching and internet service. It is most useful when the entire network is designed to support it.
Yes. UniFi can be appropriate for many high-end homes when routing, switching, access points, VLANs, monitoring and remote support are engineered and commissioned correctly.
A VLAN separates groups of devices logically on the same physical network. Segmentation can isolate owner devices, guests, cameras, IoT equipment and building systems so a problem in one group has less access to the others.
