Cove depth, extrusion, diffusion, power-feed length, driver location and viewing angle determine whether a linear-lighting detail reads as a clean glow or a row of visible diodes.

Current Lumaris lighting spans 1,800K to 4,000K, offers 90+ CRI and supports flicker-free dimming down to 0.1% on supported products. It is especially useful where a project wants comfortable white-light scenes, renovation-friendly downlights or linear lighting.

Lumaris tape light is available in tunable-white and RGB + tunable-white versions. The tape is field-cuttable at supported intervals and can be paired with Lutron extrusion profiles for surface, recessed and corner details.
Canless models are designed for finished ceilings, while retrofit models can adapt compatible existing recessed housings. That makes Lumaris useful when a renovation needs tunable white and scene control without rebuilding every ceiling.

Lumaris is designed to work natively with both Lutron RadioRA 3 and HomeWorks. That gives renovation projects a path to intelligent lighting without a centralized panelized architecture, while larger custom homes can use Lumaris inside a broader HomeWorks design.
Start with your plans, millwork drawings and existing ceiling conditions.
Regent5 lays out downlights, tape runs, drivers and control before fabrication.
Regent5 installs the fixtures, tape light, drivers and controls.
Scenes are programmed and the linear details are checked in the finished room.
Lumaris is Lutron's intelligent-lighting family for tunable-white downlights and linear lighting. It is especially useful for retrofit projects, architectural coves, millwork and rooms that need warm-to-cool white scenes without requiring Ketra in every fixture.
Yes. Lumaris Retrofit downlights are designed for compatible existing recessed housings, allowing many finished homes to add tunable-white lighting without removing ceilings. Existing cans, wiring and dimensions still need to be surveyed before specification.
Most failures come from shallow coves, visible diode spacing, the wrong extrusion or lens, poor driver placement, voltage drop or power feeds decided after the joinery is built. Good linear lighting is primarily a detailing and coordination problem.
Yes. Lumaris can be used with RadioRA 3, which makes it valuable for renovation projects that want intelligent lighting, shades and scene control without converting the home to a centralized panelized architecture.
Yes. Regent5's Showroom & Design Center has Lutron intelligent-lighting systems available for side-by-side evaluation so homeowners and designers can compare white-light range, dimming, color capability and material rendering before final specification.
Before coves, shelves, cabinets and trim details are fabricated. Extrusion profile, lens, viewing angle, driver location, power-feed length and service access all affect the finished result and should be coordinated before millwork is built.
