Rania sits between conventional warm-dim or tunable-white products and Ketra's full-spectrum color capability. It is designed for rooms where natural-looking white light is the priority.

Rania is Lutron's natural-white intelligent-lighting family. Its three-channel light engine produces white light from 1,800K to 5,500K, with 90+ CRI across much of the everyday range from 2,700K to 5,000K. Rania does not add saturated-color effects.

Ketra is the choice when a project needs saturated color or the broadest spectral flexibility, while Rania focuses on high-quality natural white light. Many residences use both: Ketra in selected feature spaces and Rania in rooms where white-light quality is the priority.
For Regent5 residential projects, Rania is planned around Lutron HomeWorks. Intensity and color temperature become part of the same scene logic as keypads and compatible shades, including gradual time-of-day transitions.

Aperture, trim, beam spread, fixed versus adjustable versus wall wash, ceiling construction and control architecture should be resolved from the reflected ceiling plan rather than left until trim-out. For renovations, Regent5 surveys ceiling depth, joists, existing wiring and access first.

Rania focuses on natural white light. Ketra adds Lutron's broadest full-spectrum and saturated-color capability for spaces where color or maximum spectral flexibility is important.
Lumaris is especially strong for retrofit-friendly downlights and linear lighting. Rania is positioned around higher-performance natural white light for principal architectural spaces.
Yes. A project can use Rania, Ketra, Lumaris and conventional fixtures in different rooms while coordinating them through one scene and control strategy.
Yes, depending on ceiling conditions, fixture format and control architecture. Existing homes should be surveyed before a retrofit or fixture-replacement strategy is finalized.
Rania is well suited to great rooms, kitchens, dining areas, primary suites and other material-rich spaces where beautiful white light matters more than saturated color effects.
