For Atherton owners, architects and builders: one licensed team for automation, lighting, theater, Wi-Fi, security and electrical.
Twelve systems, one licensed team, one set of drawings. Each tile opens the page for that system.
01
Savant, Crestron and Control4 programmed across the main house, guest house and grounds.
02
Lutron HomeWorks and Ketra designed with the architect and commissioned room by room.
03
Lutron Palladiom and Sivoia shades with pockets planned before framing on Atherton projects.
04
Dedicated theaters, listening rooms and concealed speakers for Atherton residences.
05
Outdoor audio, TVs, grounds-wide Wi-Fi and landscape lighting, run from the same system as the house.
06
Estate networks, help desk support, backup and cybersecurity for Atherton households and home offices.
07
Cameras, gate intercoms and access control planned to Atherton gate and setback rules.
08
Tunable lighting, natural light, air quality and bedroom scenes integrated into the control system.
09
Equipment rooms, pathways and rack power designed into the drawings before construction.
10
Cat6A, fiber and control wiring installed by the crew that also holds the electrical scope.
11
Service upgrades, distribution and PG&E coordination for Atherton estates under one C10 license.
12
Batteries, generators and critical-load planning so the estate stays online in an outage.
Regent5 is an authorized Savant and Control4 dealer and a Crestron dealer. One app and one set of keypads run lighting, shades, climate, audio, video and security, with profiles for family and staff. On Atherton estates that usually means a main house, guest house, pool house and gate on one system. Regent5 supports the system long after handoff.
Regent5 is a certified Lutron dealer for HomeWorks, RadioRA 3, Ketra, Rania and Lumaris. Palladiom and Sivoia shades and architectural lighting run as one system on engraved keypads. Exterior lighting is planned with the landscape team and Atherton's local requirements, then run on astronomic schedules.
Regent5 designs and installs dedicated theaters, media rooms and listening rooms: projector, screen, processor, acoustics, seating, lighting scenes and shades, tuned as one room. Many Atherton theaters sit on a lower level, so acoustics, ventilation and the equipment rack are settled before construction.
Regent5 designs and installs outdoor audio, video and Wi-Fi and landscape lighting: speakers in the planting, weather-rated TVs, access points across the grounds and lighting scenes on the house keypads. Cable and fiber are planned with the site work and routed around Atherton's heritage trees.
Regent5 designs, installs and supports Wi-Fi and wired networks on Ruckus, Access Networks, Cisco Meraki, Araknis and UniFi, starting with a Wi-Fi site survey in existing homes. Fiber ties the main house, guest house and gate into one managed network. IT support covers help desk, cloud, backup, cybersecurity and monitoring.
Regent5 installs Verkada and UniFi Protect cameras, 2N, DoorBird and UniFi intercoms, gate controls and access credentials as one system, and is an authorized Verkada partner. Camera sight lines, intercom placement and gate power are planned around Atherton's local requirements and how the family uses the property. For a higher threat profile, see high-profile estate security.
Regent5 carries electrical service and distribution, low-voltage prewire and backup power as one scope under its C10 and C7 licenses. Service upgrades, feeders to outbuildings and PG&E coordination are planned together on one permit set. Batteries, generators and UPS systems keep the network, security and automation running through an outage.

Regent5 settles electrical and low-voltage infrastructure with the architect and builder before finishes lock, then commissions and supports the systems long term.
Where we work.
Regent5 serves Atherton custom homes and estates from its San Carlos base, coordinating automation, lighting, networking, AV, security, electrical and resilient-power systems across the Peninsula and broader Bay Area.
Fiber is usually the backbone between the main house, guest house, pool house and gate, planned with the site work and routed around heritage trees. Everything joins one managed network and one control system.
During design development, before plans are finalized, so the equipment room, conduit, shade pockets and exterior lighting are part of the approved drawings rather than changes later.
Yes. Regent5 provides network and wireless management, help desk and end-user support, cloud and infrastructure management, data backup and disaster recovery, cybersecurity and threat protection, and proactive monitoring and maintenance for Atherton homes and home offices.
Yes. Regent5 reviews architectural, interiors, lighting, electrical and landscape sets, attends coordination meetings and keeps low-voltage and electrical requirements aligned with the design and construction schedule, from early design through commissioning and long-term service.
Budgeting starts with performance and infrastructure rather than a shopping list. Regent5 defines scope, identifies the wiring, equipment-room, network and power needs that cannot be deferred, sets allowances for each system and separates core infrastructure from options that can be phased. The Regent5 Showroom & Design Center in San Carlos is the place to compare options first.
Yes. Regent5 audits, documents and modernizes existing Savant, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, network, security and electrical systems in phases, including homes whose original installer is no longer involved.
